I'm hardly in any pain now
Mr. Vedi, thank you to you and your staff for looking after me so well when I was in hospital. I'm hardly in any pain now, its only when I've done the exercises that I have to do. It soon wears off - thank goodness and once again thanks very much!
~By - Mrs SCWell, you were right and I have just run the London Marathon 2011
My name is...and I was a patient of yours at Bishopswood Hospital a couple of years ago.
I broke my ankle 3 times in a very short space of time, as I was too keen to get back to sporting interests, and eventually you pinned it back together!!
I feared that I wouldn't be able to keep up the running and sporting interests, but you reassured me that your skills would keep me going for a few more years.
Well, you were right and I have just run the London Marathon 2011 (for cancer research) and completed it in a good time of 4hrs 32mins. I didnt experience any ankle or knees problems so your efforts defiantly worked!
I am now deciding what my next challange is, and although it would be nice to see you again, I hope that I don't!!

Re: Has anyone tried injection of platelet-rich plasma?
I had it done by Mr. Vedi and haven't looked back since. All of the pain has gone and I'm back to running as if there had never been a problem....when just a couple of months ago it hurt to even walk.
Like the other posts, I wanted to avoid surgery and hence felt a bit strange going to hospital, but that was to get the injection guided in by ultrasound to make sure it went in the best place (apparently).
He's based near Rickmansworth (Bishops Wood hospital) and I thoroughly recommend him
